Warna jingga meninggalkan tanah,
dan bayang-bayang pun menghilang.
Semua tertutup warna malam yang gelap.
Lampu-lampu mulai dinyalakan, menghiasi kota dengan sinarnya.
Malam menyambar dunia dengan cepat,
membungkusnya dalam kegelapan sempurna.
Langit kosong dan sunyi.
Hanya rembulan yang bertahan di atas sana.
Itupun berjuang keluar dari kepungan awan mendung.
Keremangan menggantung di semua tempat.
Jam-jam besar berdentang, menggema di seluruh kota.
Malam yang sempurna untuk hidup, dan bernafas...
dan bayang-bayang pun menghilang.
Semua tertutup warna malam yang gelap.
